Soft Coral

Soft corals do not have a calcareous skeleton, and belong to the order of the "Alcyonacea" and members of the subclass Octocorals, whose name refers to the fact that each polyp has eight tentacles. Three common genera: Sinularia, Sarcophyton, Canpnella, Cladiella, Clavularia, Gorgonia.
